Yoga Nidra is an extremely gentle and relaxing way to access the subconscious. Here, you are able to enter a state of mind in which the body and mind relax completely, but the conscious mind remains active by using a series of breath, body, and awareness techniques. This is done while lying down. The hardest thing you will have to do is stay awake!
How does Yoga Nidra work?
During Yoga Nidra, you will experience going between different brainwave states. You may have periodic bursts of alpha (subconscious) in-between between beta (wakefulness) and theta (dreaming sleep). This in-between stage is where the magic happens. The more time spent in the alpha brainwave state, the more we can allow embedded imprints, images, sounds, smells, and patterns of the subconscious to rise to the surface and be released, which enables a profound experience of total relaxation. Yoga Nidra is actually more beneficial than sleep because during sleep you aren’t releasing subconscious impressions. In Yoga Nidra, you leave the waking state, go past the dreaming state, and go to the deep sleep state while remaining awake, which allows you to release the deep unhelpful patterns and beliefs driving your life.

A typical one-on-one session begins with a conversation about where you're feeling stuck, recognition of the patterns or habits continuing to show up in your life, or what you want to let go of. From there, I'll create a plan to support you on your healing journey, which will include self-healing tools that you can incorporate into your life outside of our time together. Each session and person are different and will be unique to you and your journey. I use my intuition and wisdom from my own self-healing journey to support you in finding the healer within yourself.
